Home batteries

Ask for a home battery quote

Three short steps. Tell us about your home and how you use electricity now, and we'll come back to you by email. No installer sees your details until you've agreed to them by name.

Tell us about your home

Answer what you can. The installer checks the rest when they look at your home.

Step 1 of 3 Your home
What kind of home is it?
Do you own it?
Step 2 of 3 Your current setup
Do you have solar panels?

Have a plug-in kit? The plug-in rules don't allow a battery with it, so it doesn't count here.

What kind of tariff are you on?
What's the main reason for a battery?
Step 3 of 3 Your contact details

Only if you'd like a call back as well as an email.

We use your answers to deal with this request. Our privacy notice and how quote requests work explain more.

Questions

Do I need solar panels to get a battery?

No. A battery can charge from the grid when electricity is cheaper and run your home when it's dearer. See how much a home battery costs.

Can I add a battery to a plug-in kit?

No. The government's rules for plug-in solar don't allow a battery to be used with a plug-in kit.
