About us
About UK Home Solar
We write plain-English guides for homeowners thinking about solar, and we pass on quote requests to installers you've agreed to.
Who we are
UK Home Solar is a small website run from the North East of England. We're not an installer and we don't fit panels or batteries.
How we write guides
- We use official and independent sources: Ofgem, government departments, the Planning Portal, the Energy Saving Trust and Which?.
- Every figure names its source and date, and estimates are labelled as estimates.
- We check the guides when the price cap, export rates or the rules change, and show the date at the top.
- We don't take payment for what goes in a guide.
